Trial Success in Disputed Tripping Case

Whilst around 95% of cases settle without the need for a trial, there are still some cases where the other party refuses to settle.  If we think the case has reasonable prospects of success, then we will fight the case at trial for you.

This was exactly the position one of our local Bury clients recently found herself in. Despite all of the evidence clearly showing a legitimate accident had taken place, the defendant tried to discredit her case and refused to make a reasonable settlement offer.

Despite a number of truly appalling attacks upon her character, including an unfounded suggestion she was intoxicated, we remained confident in her case and advised her to take the matter to trial.

At trial we were able to undermine all of the attempted attacks upon her character and were delighted to find that at the end of the trial the Judge ruled in favour of our client and awarded her compensation of £4,751.52.
