A Word:
I started my career in a niche law firm in Manchester assisting one of the country’s leading lawyers in military claims. I gained from this extensive experience in running high value claims and representing families at inquests. Within this role I was fortunate enough to work with the finest Leading QC’s and expert witnesses and gained a wealth of experience and connections which I have continued to develop throughout my career.
I took a break in my career to have a family which I am very proud of. However, the legal industry is completely different today to what it was when I set out on my career in law. I am proud to be working with a firm that shares my beliefs and puts quality and client care above everything else.
I have dealt with clients whom have difficulty adapting to life after injury, and I realise the importance of helping those clients to regain their quality of life, arranging extensive private rehabilitation for clients with specialist medical professionals, ensuring they receive the best treatment available to them. I believe it is important to offer a compassionate and knowledgeable approach and I strive to go the extra mile to ensure my clients and loved ones are full supported and well informed throughout a process which can often be daunting for them. Fortunately, Aston Knight shares the same views.
Greatest Moment:
Representing families of military personnel who died in fatal puma crashes in Iraq. Attending the “All Parliamentary Group on Inquest” at the Houses of Parliament in Westminster where I met the Service Complaints Commissioner on Army Deaths. Being one of the only solicitors to secure public funding for legal representation at inquests.
Client Feedback:
To say Emma is popular with clients is somewhat of an understatement. Take a look at our testimonial page for the full list but we’ve added some examples below, accompanied by the scanned (redacted) testimonial.
