Miss T was walking by her house when she fell into an open metal grid cutting the back of her foot and spraining her ankle. The Council denied responsibility for the accident and refused to make any settlement offers.

James Winterbottom of Aston Knight Solicitors consulted a barrister who refused to take the case on as he did not believe it would succeed. However, James was confident the law had been broken and so issued court proceedings.

During court proceedings James was able to negotiate a successful settlement of £1,500.00. In accepting the offer Miss T commented: “Thanks for your assistance through the whole case. I would highly recommend you to anyone who is need of legal advice.” Take a look at Miss T’s email to see for yourself!
